Scope and responsibilities
My role evolved from helping customers understand and apply enterprise technology to shaping how AI could become a more meaningful part of the product portfolio. Within Strategy Services, I connected customer feedback and market needs with product opportunities, helping translate AI concepts into practical offerings and customer-facing solutions.
This meant working across technical pre-sales, product strategy, customer demonstrations, proofs of concept, and AI architecture. The focus was not simply on introducing AI, but on identifying where it could solve real customer problems and create business value.
Selected projects and contributions
Voice of customer & product modernization
Connected customer requirements and feedback to opportunities for evolving the product portfolio and making it more AI-driven.
Self-service machine learning
Contributed to an AI offering designed to make machine-learning model development more accessible to business users, reducing reliance on specialized technical expertise.
Customer demonstrations & proofs of concept
Worked directly with customers to demonstrate AI capabilities, explore practical use cases, and validate how emerging technology could address real business requirements.
What I learned
This chapter reinforced the importance of starting with the customer problem rather than the technology. Working across pre-sales, strategy, and AI architecture gave me a practical understanding of how customer conversations inform product decisions — and how to distinguish promising AI capabilities from those that deliver meaningful business value.
It also shaped the way I approach AI leadership today: combine customer-led innovation with an understanding of where the industry is heading, then translate that perspective into practical product direction.
Outcomes and impact
My contributions centered on AI product direction, customer-informed portfolio modernization, and making machine-learning capabilities more accessible. I have not included numerical impact claims because no verified metrics are available in the current career notes.
