AI STRATEGY · PRODUCT TRANSFORMATION

Reposition an application platform around emerging AI-native interaction patterns.

AppSteer began as a relatively simple no-code application platform. The opportunity was to rethink how users could create enterprise applications as natural-language interfaces and generative AI capabilities emerged.

The business problem

AppSteer began as a relatively simple no-code application platform. The opportunity was to rethink how users could create enterprise applications as natural-language interfaces and generative AI capabilities emerged.

My role and approach

I moved from the Chief Commercial Officer role into the Chief AI Officer role, helping modernize the technology stack and redefine the product direction around an AI-driven prompt-to-build concept.

  • Brought a commercial and customer-facing perspective into product strategy.
  • Assessed the product's maturity and opportunity for repositioning.
  • Helped define a direction that moved from conventional no-code configuration toward natural-language-driven application creation.
  • Connected product modernization with enterprise use cases and a deployment footprint across East Asia, the United States, and Africa.

Outcome and value

The strategic outcome was a repositioned product vision around AI-driven application development. No specific revenue or adoption metrics were supplied.

How success should be measured

The work demonstrates product strategy and repositioning; it should not be presented as a quantified commercial outcome unless additional evidence is available.
